We have an opening for a FSET Supervisor for our NorthCentral FoodShare Employment & Training (FSET) Region, with a home office based in Wausau, WI. FSET is a free and volunteer program for recipients of FoodShare who are age 16 or older, designed to help customers discover and achieve their employment goals. CW Solutions partners with Wood County Human Services Department to operate the FSET program in the nine-county NorthCentral region.
The FSET Supervisor is a member of the NorthCentral FSET Leadership Team and the CW Solutions leadership team. This position supervises eight (8) FSET Case Managers in Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Oneida, and Vilas counties and the Program Support Specialist (1) in the Wausau office. This position also provides back-up supervision for other FSET and CW Solutions Leadership Team members.

Program Supervision
- Coordinate with the FSET Leadership Team to ensure all FSET Standard Operating Procedures are up to date.
- Review and approve or deny support service requests, including documentation in CWW and the appropriate tracker in SharePoint.
- Direct, plan, and review new worker training for assigned staff, which includes assessing for additional needs or support throughout the training period. Support training needs for the entire region.
- Assist with the preparation of the FSET Quarterly Report.
- Monitor the budget documents completed by the Regional Manager.
- Attend DHS Vendor Management meetings.
- Attend other state required meetings and trainings.
- Develop and sustain great working relationships with partner agencies, which includes attending partner meetings.
Quality Assurance Functions
- Conduct limited case reviews for each support service request including accuracy review of the assessment, employment, EP, tracking, and pin comment pages.
- Conduct periodic reviews of worker’s support service logs to ensure staff are completing them timely and accurately (no less than once per month).
- Coordinate the implementation of the customer satisfaction surveys.
- Monitor the referral list for assigned offices.
- Complete weekly check of Expired and NO EPs for assigned case managers.
- Review weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual QA reports for the region and assigned Hub.
- Support QA initiatives under the direction of the Regional Manager and Quality Assurance Manager.
- Assist with region-wide training initiatives
- Assist with planning and executing weekly Zoom FSET meetings, quarterly FSET meetings, and quarterly Shared Operations meetings.
Personnel Supervision
- Review and approve time off requests for assigned staff.
- Review and approve time and expense reports for assigned staff.
- Initiate staff coverage plans for planned and unplanned absences (in collaboration with the FSET and CWS Leadership Team when appropriate).
- Hold regularly scheduled one-on-one personnel meetings with each staff member to review goals and grow areas identified on their annual review, progress on program goals, outcomes of QA initiatives, and individual worker support.
- Complete six-month (probationary) and annual staff evaluations.
- Evaluate training needs for individual staff and the collective FSET team based upon interactions, observations, and QA results.
- Participate in recruitment for open positions.
- Develop and monitor performance improvement plans.
- Assist with staff termination, when necessary.
- Submit documentation to the staff’s Personnel File.
Additional Functions
The following additional tasks and responsibilities are part of this position:
- Provide support and back-up services for the regional FSET Leadership Team.
- Provide coverage support for case managers and PSS when necessary.
- Provide coverage and support for other leadership team members when needed.
- Cross-train in other programs operated in the assigned office to provide basic support as needed.
- Apply trauma-informed care and practice inclusion and allyship in all activities and services.
Education: Required: Bachelor degree in Human Services or related field.
Experience:
Required: Two years’ experience in the FSET program or related employment & training program.
Desired: Demonstrated leadership of quantifiable projects, committees or groups.
Transportation: Required – This position requires the staff member to hold a valid driver’s license and use their personal vehicle to travel throughout the NorthCentral FSET region. Mileage reimbursement is provided for all business-related travel.
