Job Opening: Independent Living  Coordinator

CW Solutions has and immediate opening for an IL  Coordinator for our NorthCentral Transitional Resource Agency for Independent Living (TRAIL) in Wausau, Wisconsin.  This is a permenant, full-time position.

This position provides comprehensive case management services to youth and emerging adults who have aged out of court-ordered out-of-home care care (such as foster care) from age 17 1/2 to age 23. A successful candidate will be able to develop strong connections with program participants, be an unwavering ally and help participants develop their strengths and skills into full adulthood.

Minimum Experience and Training: The following identify core qualifications for the position.

Education - Required: Must have a minimum of a Bachelor degree in Social work or related field that will qualify the application for a social worker license.

License - Required: Must be licensed as Social Worker in the State of Wisconsin or be eligible to be licensed within 12 months of hire date.

Lived Experience  - Desired. Preferential treatment will be given to candidates who have personal experience as a minor in the foster care system or similar out-of-home placement as first-hand experience is essential to providing unique advocacy, mentorship and and case management to youth an emerging adults who aged out of the child welfare system. Declaration of having lived experience is voluntary and not required.

Location: The assigned primary office location is located in Wausau, but wil require travel in the NorthCentral region.

Employment Status: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week). Eligible for full benefit package.

Starting Wage: $26.06
